THE WEDDING KISS!!
How do I know they are married you may ask??
I was there.
My children were actually the celebrants at the marriage of Maverick to Chloe.
They got married on our trampoline.
It has now been blessed.
but they didn't have a honeymoon.

Yeh angel sorry my butt looked so big in my bright orange tutu. I should have worn purple.
Well, i didnt like to say anything at the time, But......... what were you thinking! Orange! what was that all about! oh and Ugg boots, dont get me started on your ugg boots, and why, oh why you had to have a Yellowygreenycherry coloured wig on! no-one really knows, we talked about that wig all afternoon, it took something away from the ambience of the day i thought.... tsk tsk, but on the plus side, i dont think your bum looked THAT big? everyone else commented that it did, but not me.;-)

Have a great day .......:-)

Hi Caroline, I just found your blog via Jenny Wren, and love it-dogs getting married on trampolines, Wednesday's word, and a liking for golden syrup dumplings- I think we may be kindred spirits!( well, we haven't actually had any canine nuptials on our trampoline, but absolutely the kind of thing that happens here).
Anyway , no doubt Jenny will have a good recipe for the dumplings, but I thought I'd give you mine as well -this is one of my favourite puddings from my childhood and I make it about once a month for my family:
For the dumplings: mix 1 tbsp margarine with 1 beaten egg , then add 1C sr flour and enough milk to make a stiff dough. Form into balls.I just bung it all in the food processor.
For the syrup; mix 1 1/2 C water with 1/2 C sugar,1 tbsp margarine ,and 2 tblsps golden syrup in a big pot and bring to a rapid boil.
Add dumplings to boiling syrup and cover with lid, cook for @ 15 mins. The dumplings should now be bigger and puffier looking.Serve with the delicious syrup and cream- LOTS of cream, they just soak it up!
I've always used marg. for this recipe but next time I'm going to try it with butter. Hopefully it will be even better!
To Maryanne my dear kindred spirit
I WILL be making your Golden Syrup Dumplings. Thanks for commenting it makes me happy to know someone enjoys what I waffle on about!! And why may I ask do you NOT have canine nuptials taking place on the trampoline AHH is it felines instead.LOL
Are you sure one of these dogs is of legal age to wed? One head looks so much smaller than the other.
Now Maryannes dumplings recipe reminds me of the ones my mum made, but they had a quarter or eighth of a peeled and cored apple wrapped up inside the dumpling. They were called 'apple dumplings' of course and boiled in the syrup.
