What did you all get up to for New Year??
Something more than this??
A great way to spend New Year. Me thinks maybe I should have spent my New Year like this.
Safely tucked up in Mum's old timber bed with recycled timber that was salvaged from the Old Brisbane Wool Store, with a delightful vintage print quilt cover and lovely cool cotton sheets for such a hot Queensland Summer night.
Some of us adults didn't spend New Years quite like this, though we were very kindly woken quite early by the little people that did.

I've been very well behaved this festive season - no thick heads for me at all. Christmas Day was a blur and I sat on the same bottle of red all day and into the night and NYE I did the same. Maybe I'm getting old and sensible?!
Cheers - Joolz
Well it sure sounds like you have been busy Joolz.
These days my thick head is from old age and staying up past my bed time rather than from anything more sinister!!
I looked just like that minus the nice sheets and all....Had a huge thunderstorm here and no party as Hubby worked so by 10.30 I was snoring!
A Happy New Year to you and your family Caroline.
Have you featured your profile photo on your blog, as that is a lovely photo.......
