Abbey Medieval Festival 2011 Part 2

Doesn't she just look stunning

The children were little sweethearts

Come late afternoon I felt I could have curled
up here for a nap.

"VERY" Medieval Blacksmithing

The authentic camp.

Great photo's Caroline!! I would have loved to have been there, the characters look very colourful, so does the atmosphere!!

I am always fascinated by the blacksmiths too, my great grandfather was one, west of Stanthorpe, long time ago and in the Boer war. It is quite a skill we don't get to see very often.

Simcha we shall go when you get back. It is something I am sure you will love.

How cool is this?! SOrry I've been such a lousy blogger lately. Things are going on that are taxing my mind. How's your son who is in the service doing? I think of you every time I have an egg!! I hope all is well in your neck of the woods.xx-cassie

Good morning Caroline, great photography, a lot of folk arts are dying because of lack of interest, what a shame. Thanks for sharing
